Noell Moseley, DVM, DABVP

Dr. Noell Moseley graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1971. He helped start Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital in 1974 and is one of the founders of Southwind Animal Hospital. Dr. Moseley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners with a specialty in canine and feline practice. ABVP seeks to promote the highest standards of contemporary veterinary clinical practice.

Dr. Moseley's areas of special interest in practice include neurology, ultrasound, internal medicine, and veterinary informatics. Outside of veterinary medicine, his passions are computers and golf. Noell and his wife Betsy have four children and four granddaughters. Betsy is an organist and creator of heirloom clothing for children. They share their home with four dogs – three Dachshunds and a Doberman. The Moseleys are members of Germantown Presbyterian Church where Dr. Moseley also serves as an elder.


Amy Cooper, DVM

Dr. Amy Cooper, a native Memphian, graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and moved back to her hometown shortly thereafter. She worked at Shelby Center Hospital for Animals for seven years before joining Southwind Animal Hospital. Dr. Cooper is passionate about preventative medicine and has a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine, feline medicine, and dermatology. She is a certified weight coach for Purina™ and is happy to help those fluffy pets get back into their optimal body condition.

Dr. Cooper and her husband have two small daughters that keep them on their toes constantly. Her favorite past time is traveling. She also enjoys photography and graphic design.


Angela Briggs, DVM

Dr. Angela Briggs is a graduate from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school and her life in the South, she grew up just outside of Washington, DC, and received her bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Dr. Briggs' areas of interest include feline medicine, nutrition, oncology, and ultrasound. She plans to become a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners or the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the future. During her spare time, Dr. Briggs enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family, including two German shepherds, two cats, her husband, Chase, and their two daughters Addison and Eleanor Grace. Her newest interests include learning how to garden and exploring the city of Memphis.
