Nursing Staff
The veterinary assistants are another key part of our staff. They are
veterinary nurses who assist in all areas of patient care including
outpatient visits, laboratory testing, x-rays, ultrasound, dental
cleaning, surgical assisting, and nursing care for hospitalized
patients.
At Southwind Animal Hospital we have teams of veterinary assistants that
work with each doctor in the practice. This gives us the greatest
continuity and helps us provide the best care for your pet.
Kennel Attendants
Our
kennel attendants care for all hospitalized and boarding pets. They
feed, water, and exercise them daily as well as provide a clean
environment for them. These hard-working folks also keep the rest of the
hospital clean and odor-free. Beverly Kettleman is our
outstanding, hands-on kennel manager.
Our
professional groomers, Pam Timmins and Heather
Pope, are here to keep your pets looking beautiful. They offer
complete grooming services for all breeds of dogs and cats. You will
need to schedule an appointment ahead of time as they are in demand.
